Ozotic 534

Here is the lovely multichromatic and holographic Ozotic 534!  The main colour is deep purple, though it flashes a few other colours, including blue and rust.  Truth be told, the chromatic aspect of this polish doesn't impress me.  I am smitten with the linear holo, though!
I only have one shot of this polish, but it is pretty true to life.  Myriad bloggers have better pics of the other colours, if you are so inclined!

Deborah Lippmann Razzle Dazzle

Continuing my Lippmann kick, here is Razzle Dazzle, a blackened raspberry jelly base with fuschia glitter.  As usual, application was excellent; there was no cleanup with this mani!  Par for the glitter course, it dried a bit dull and gritty, but two coats of topcoat fixed that up quickly.
The colour is actually a bit deeper than it shows (more like the bottle) and the glitter pops more, but this is the best I could come up with.  :)  I really need to take photography classes to learn how to use the creative settings on my camera!
This is a sexy, vampy colour and though similar polishes are out there (I'm thinking Orly Rock-It has similar glitter, but a lighter base), the ease of application makes it a definite keeper!

Deborah Lippmann Bad Romance

I've wanted this polish for ages!  Large purple hexagons and tiny glitter swimming in a black jelly base? Yum!
Thanks to Christmas money and online ordering, I managed to snag some Lippmann polishes and this is one of them.  Funny thing ~ just before I ordered this polish, I picked up Revlon's Facets of Fuchsia.  Oops.  Oh well, I'll probably add that to my MUA swap list.
Two coats of polish and two of top coat.  That's the unfortunate thing about glitter; it 'eats' topcoat.  Oh well, it's so pretty; I don't mind.  It even looks good on my freshly shortened nails.

Cult Nails Living Water/Hypnotize Me

I was so excited when I ordered my first Cult Nails polishes a few months back, but became quickly disappointed with two of the colours (on me), Cruisin' Nude and Iconic.  Fortunately, Living Water and Hypnotize Me didn't disappoint!  I only needed one medium-thick coat of Living Water for opacity.  One coat of Hypnotize Me (gloopy but gorgeous) brought out the blue and green sparkles in Living Water's navy blue base and made my fingernails twinkle like crazy!  I am not one for navy polishes, but surprisingly, two have caught my attention so far ~ this and Across the Universe.  Love!

One thing to note about these polishes is that they dry flat, like most glitter, but nothing a good topcoat won't fix!

Rescue Beauty Lounge No More War

I've had this beauty in my untried pile for over a year now!  Don't know why, since it is such a great olive colour.  The only downside is that I needed 3 coats to achieve opacity, but I chalk that up to my lack of painting skills. ;)  Oh, and I didn't wait long enough between coats, so by the time I woke up the next morning, I had sheet marks on my right hand.  I used Nubar Diamont to smooth the polish, but No More War is incredibly shiny and self-leveling.

One either loves or hates a shade like this; I am firmly in the love camp!

Nubar Moire Konad

I saw this polish on Scrangie, and managed to finagle it in a recent swap.  It may be 'boring' to some people, but I do like it on me as it 'matches' my skin tone nicely.  The two coats dried quickly, but since I wasn't in a nude mood after all, I decided to spice it up with a Konad design.  This is probably my favourite design.  I used OPI Illuminate (also from a recent swap) and I think the subtle holographic sparkle complements Moire.

Color Club Holiday Splendor

I chanced upon this colour at a small kiosk in the local mall and immediately snatched up the only bottle.  Any turquoise-leaning green with holographic sparkles is a winner for sure!  Here's the kicker ~ full opacity at two coats!  Of course, you could pair it with a turquoise 'underwear' shade and only use one coat of HS, but then you would have fewer sparkles!
This picture isn't totally color accurate, so here is another picture for your perusal (as if you don't know this shade by now...).

OPI Save Me

Happy New Year, all 3 of my followers! ;)  I had a nice restful holiday with the husband and kids and while it didn't snow until the last day (!!), we had a good time.
Prior to the holidays, I spotted the Nicki Minaj OPI colours on display at my local Trade Secrets and snatched up two of the colours: Save Me and Fly (I was thinking about Did it on Em, but it's too close to my FingerPaints Lucky in Love Lime).  I was intrigued by the holographic bar glitter buried in silver glitter, but was ultimately disappointed.  This mani took three coats of polish to build opacity, but ended up with numerous pieces of bar glitter sticking out.  I used two thick coats of Nubar Diamont and it was still bumpy.
Pretty, but not for me.  Definitely going into the swap pile!
